I performed a live painting during an Elvis tribute act at CD&ME in Frankfort, IL. The EAS band, the #1 Elvis Tribute Band, and tribute artists brought the sound to life. It was fun to paint the King while listening to great live music. I was able to finish it in 4 hours and it was sold by the end of the night.

I was asked to create a Chicago-themed glass for Duvel to promote the brand in the Chicago region. I selected a lot of my favorite highlights to create a collage of the Windy City. We had a blast at the launch party at Hopleaf. I greeted art and beer lovers alike.

My lifelong friend, Michael Larson, was knighted in Brussels in September 2024 for his contributions to the Belgian beer world. Who knew that was even a thing? I entered the Fly Your Fandom contest by Pepsi. All you needed to do was grab use a Pepsi bottle as a microphone and sing Take Me Out To the Ball Game. This was an opportunity for me to dress like my favorite sports announcer Harry Caray. I ended up winning the Grand Prize! A Wrigley Field Experience.

How a graphic design alumnus from Southern Illinois University stumbled into the distillery business and designed their award-winning packaging.

From traveling to Belgium and sipping on some beers to being able to create an image that appears on Duvel glasses around the world.
